To strengthen our R&D Department, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Mechanical Engineer – Plastic Components
who will focus on the design and development of plastic parts and assemblies.In this role, you will contribute across the full product development lifecycle—from concept to production—working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Production Engineering, Product Certification, and Service.You will play a key role in ensuring that plastic components meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets, supporting both new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies with a focus on plastic partsEnsure designs meet functional, manufacturing, and cost requirementsCreate and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD toolsManage Bills of Materials (BOM) and related data within the PLM systemSupport prototyping, testing, and validation activitiesSelect suitable plastic materials and define appropriate manufacturing processes (e.G., injection molding)Ensure compliance with product certification standards and quality requirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalentPrevious experience in mechanical design, with exposure to plastic components (entry-level profiles also considered)Good knowledge of 3D CAD tools (preferably PTC Creo)Familiarity with PLM systems (Windchill is a plus)Understanding of plastic materials and manufacturing processes, especially injection moldingFluency in English, both written and spoken
