Senior Expert Logistics Management

pIn this role you will lead the full natural gas logistics for Italy, establishing processes and interfaces with internal teams, grid operators, and regulators. You will implement logistics processes to fulfill gas sales contracts and support Italian regulatory-driven rollouts. You will manage capacity, dispatching, and contract logistics across networks, ensuring compliant, efficient operations. You will engage stakeholders and contribute to pricing with precise logistics inputs, driving continuous improvement and regulatory compliance. This role offers the chance to shape OMV’s logistics footprint in Italy and support a sustainable energy future. /pulliSet up and manage the Italian natural gas logistics function, defining processes, standards, and interfaces with internal teams, grid operators and regulatory bodies /liliImplement logistics processes for gas sales contracts and rollout of natural gas solutions per Italian regulations /liliOversee transportation and storage capacity, distribution contracts and the full dispatching cycle (balancing, nomination, allocation, programming) /liliPrepare capacity bookings across time horizons and ensure accurate transport cost calculations and bookings on DSO/TSO networks /liliInterpret and apply regulatory requirements; represent OMV in Italian gas market working groups and associations /liliManage sales-related logistics activities including metering point changes, capacity management, consumption data, invoicing, reporting and coordination with grid operators /liliEnsure efficient and compliant daily and long-term logistics operations across relevant networks /liliMaintain stakeholder relationships and support pricing with accurate logistics inputs /liliOversee metering point implementation, data management, invoice validation and customer change processes, including handling customer and emergency requests /liliIdentify risks and opportunities, drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with OGMS/ICS and all relevant regulations /liliMinimum 7 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or portfolio management within energy/utilities, specifically natural gas /liliStrong knowledge of the Italian energy market and natural gas structures and processes /liliExcellent analytical and organizational skills with strong data management and portfolio analysis capabilities /liliProven experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration /liliStrong customer orientation, negotiation skills and business acumen /liliHands-on, solution-driven mindset with ability to work independently in a dynamic environment /liliEntrepreneurial attitude, high initiative, team spirit and growth mindset /liliFluency in Italian and English; German is a strong advantage /lilianalytical thinking /lilicross-functional collaboration /lilidata management /lilicapacity management /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
