The position combines strategic financial leadership with operational excellence, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, compliance and business performance across the property.As a trusted business partner to the wider leadership team, you will provide financial insight that supports informed decision-making, while helping to create a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Working at the intersection of finance, operations and people leadership, you will help drive profitability while enabling exceptional guest experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Director of Finance in overseeing the daily operations of the Accounting Office, ensuring accuracy, compliance and operational effectivenessDrive budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting activities, delivering timely insights that influence business performance and strategic decisionsEnsure the integrity of profit and loss reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls across the hotelLead internal, external and regulatory audit processes while maintaining compliance with Marriott standards, local regulations and financial governance requirementsPartner with operational leaders to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and resource utilisationLeverage technology, systems and analytical tools to enhance reporting capabilities and provide meaningful commercial insightCoach, develop and inspire the finance team through open communication, performance development and recognition of successFoster a strong accounting and operational control environment that safeguards assets, manages risk and supports sustainable business growthThe Ideal CandidateDO NOT NEED TO SPEAK ITALIANMANDATORY EU PERMITREQUESTED EXPERIENCE IN MARRIOTTWe are seeking a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment and brings both analytical expertise and people leadership capability.You will demonstrate an ability to influence and inspire others through collaboration, integrity and clear communication, while acting as a trusted advisor to hotel leadership.
