Senior HR Generalist (Hybrid | Milan or Bologna)

You will report to our HR Operations Manager and will work closely with HR Ops, Finance, and Legal to evolve our people systems, workplace experience, and operational excellence. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul libPeople Operations Employee Lifecycle Ownership /b ul liOwn the full employee lifecycle end-to-end, including onboarding, offboarding, documentation, contracts, HR data management, and compliance; /li liManage personnel administration processes such as attendance, leaves, and reporting obligations, ensuring accuracy and consistency; /li liCoordinate with our payroll provider and internal stakeholders to support accurate monthly payroll processing; /li liMaintain, monitor, and improve HRIS workflows and People documentation, ensuring data integrity and operational reliability; /li liSupport employee relations with confidentiality, clarity, empathy, and a solutions-oriented mindset; /li liPartner with the Director of People Operations to update and implement HR policies and people operations processes. /li /ul /li libOnboarding Offboarding Execution and Excellence /b ul liLead operational onboarding by preparing plans, collecting documentation, and coordinating equipment and access with IT and Facilities/Workplace stakeholders; /li liConduct orientation sessions to reinforce culture, tools, and ways of working; /li liMonitor early integration and collect feedback to continuously improve the onboarding journey; /li liLead offboarding operations, including documentation, employee communications, exit interviews, equipment recovery, and access deactivation. /li /ul /li libWorkplace Experience Office Operations (Milan/Bologna) /b ul liSupport the operational execution of workplace services and external suppliers (cleaning, maintenance, security, etc.), ensuring service quality and consistency; /li liContribute to workplace efficiency, safety, and employee well-being initiatives in collaboration with internal partners and HSE/RSPP; /li liProvide structured coordination and operational support to facility contributors to ensure smooth day-to-day execution across offices; /li liBe available to work from and travel to our Milan or Bologna office when needed, ensuring continuity across both workplaces (realistically 2d/week). /li /ul /li libInternal Communications People Documentation /b ul liDraft and share clear, structured internal communications related to HR processes, policy updates, and organizational changes; /li liMaintain and evolve People Operations documentation, templates, and wiki content to ensure clarity and ease of access for the company; /li liSupport communication consistency across the People team, helping employees navigate processes smoothly. /li /ul /li libCulture Employee Experience Support /b ul liSupport initiatives that foster belonging, recognition, and team connection across a distributed environment; /li liHelp coordinate (when needed) team moments such as virtual events, workshops, retreats, and off-sites to strengthen culture and engagement; /li liEnsure employee experience touchpoints reflect iubenda’s values and deliver a consistent, thoughtful experience. /li /ul /li /ul pbQualifications /b /p ul liAt least 4 years of experience in HR; /li liFundamentals of labor law and payroll regulations; /li liSolid experience with HRIS tools (e.g., Bob, or similar); /li liAdvanced Excel skills (ideally able to manage pivot tables and macros) and a strong data-oriented mindset; /li liFull professional proficiency in English and Italian; /li liHighly organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in owning processes end-to-end; /li liAble to communicate with clarity and empathy, thrive in structured environments, and genuinely care about creating an excellent employee experience; /li liComfortable balancing hands-on execution with continuous improvement, and motivated by making things work better for both people and the business. /li /ul h3Location Perks /h3 pb Location /bbr/Our offices, located in the center of Milan (a 5-minute walk from S.
