Fire Alarm Services Engineer

Fire Alarm Services Engineer (Full‑time) – Prospero Facilities Services Limited

Reporting to the relevant departmental manager, you will be responsible for testing, maintenance and servicing of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems, including reactive call‑outs as part of our Facilities Management support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out mandatory testing and maintenance of fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Diagnosing faults and completing statutory documentation.
• Reporting remedial works and supporting installation and upgrading of fire alarm systems.
• Providing technical support and guidance to engineers, clients and project managers.
• Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry qualifications in fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Experience working with fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills.
• Computer literacy and team leadership experience.
• Positive, proactive attitude.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
