Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Storage Solutions Market Expert to bridge the gap between Market and RD department. In this role, you will be responsible for defining our storage value proposition, enabling sales teams with competitive intelligence, and leading technical exchanges with Customer IT Infra Decision Maker (CIOs/CTOs/IT Manager).

The ideal candidate possesses a profound understanding of storage architecture (SAN/NAS/AI Storage), a clear vision of industry trends, and extensive\ "battle-tested\" experience in complex enterprise projects. You will play a pivotal role in positioning our solutions against global market leaders like Dell EMC, NetApp, and Huawei.

Key Responsibilities

• Storage Solution Strategy & Designing: Design and articulate comprehensive storage solutions based on mainstream architectures (SAN, NAS, Object, and Distributed Storage). Translate complex technical specifications into clear business values, matched use case for enterprise clients.
• Executive Engagement & Project Support: Act as the primary technical expert during pre-sales cycles. Lead technical exchanges and presentations for CIOs and CTOs, addressing their pain points regarding data growth,Business performance, cost optimization, and digital transformation, Lead the project from leads to project winning (including identify use case, technical recognition, POC management and competition analysis
• Competitive Intelligence & Positioning: Conduct in-depth analysis of global storage vendors (e.G., Dell EMC, NetApp, Huawei). Define our competitive advantages and develop\ "battle cards\" to effectively counter competitor strengths in RFPs/RFIs.
• AI & Unified Storage Focus: Lead the strategy for Unified and AI storage solutions. Understand the specific I/O characteristics and throughput requirements of AI training and inference workloads, and position our high-performance storage solutions accordingly.
• Market Insight & Product Improvement with RD : Monitor the storage industry landscape, including trends in Software-Defined Storage (SDS), NVMe-oF, and Flash technologies. Provide strategic and key features needed by market and input to RD and track the developing results.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in the storage industry, with a strong background in both Solutions Architecture and Pre-sales/ Senior Storage engineer roles.
• Technical Expertise:
• Mastery of storage protocols and networking (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB, S3).
• Deep understanding of underlying storage technologies (RAID, File Systems, Deduplication, Compression, Erasure Coding).
• Proven track record with SAN and NAS deployments in large-scale enterprise environments.
• AI Storage Knowledge: Familiarity with the infrastructure requirements for AI/ML workloads, including high-throughput parallel file systems and GPU-direct storage concepts.
• Competitive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the product portfolios, strengths, and weaknesses of major vendors such as Dell EMC (PowerStore/PowerMax/Isilon), NetApp (AFF/FAS), and Huawei (OceanStor).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills. Ability to influence decision-makers and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
• Language: Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required for technical documentation and global client interaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cloud Storage architectures (AWS S3, Azure Blob) and Hybrid Cloud integration.
• Experience in specific verticals such as Finance, Manufacturing, or High-Performance Computing (HPC).
