The company is looking for an expert to enlarge its team in charge of developing next-generation Model-Based Design tools. In this role, you will be a system engineer improving simulation, code and diagram generation of the existing tools through the integration of the latest AI agentic technologies. You will be joining a dynamic and highly collaborative team of experts and PhDs passionate about research projects and innovative solutions. /p h3Position Responsibilities /h3 pSupport the technological evolution of proprietary MBD tools towards AI-assistance, large-scale efficient simulation, optimized code and test generation. /p h3Work Location /h3 pPisa, Italy /p h3Type of contract /h3 pleased worker, full-time, on-site /p h3Mandatory requirements /h3 ulliM.Sc in Engineering or Computer Science. PhD preferred /liliExcellent knowledge of both Java and Python programming languages. /liliExperience with AI frameworks (e.g., langchain, langgraph, docling, Pytorch, etc.) /liliHands-on experience with AI coding agents, e.g., Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex or others. /liliExperience with OpenAI API, MCP servers, Tool calling /liliExperience on agentic patterns, prompt engineering, chain of thought /liliExperience in building efficient multi-agent AI architectures (including RAG, orchestration and tool calling) and integration into existing products /liliAnalysis and performance optimization (i.e. latency, scalability, token efficiency) of complex LLM distributed pipelines. /liliFamiliarity with model-based engineering concepts (e.g., UML, Simulink/Stateflow diagrams). /liliKnow‑how on software testing, especially regression testing. /liliExcellent communication, own initiative, teamwork and product-oriented mindset. /liliFluency in English and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment /liliAvailability to travel in Europe and in China. /li /ul h3Optional, but nice to have, requirements /h3 ulliExpertise in model-to-text, text-to-model and model-to-model transformations. /liliExperience on reinforcement learning, model quantization, distillation and fine tuning. /liliRTOS or control/vehicle software development experience are preferred. /liliStrong knowledge of C++ /liliExperience with the Eclipse-Modeling Framework (EMF). /liliExperience with MLOps, especially in setting up private LLM deployments with vLLM. /liliKnowledge of CI/CD frameworks. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 pWe offer an exciting career opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of automotive computing.
