We are expanding globally and seeking the right regulatory partner to help us obtain financial and payment licenses in key markets including the EU, Latin America, Africa, South Asia, and Hong Kong. /ph3Role Overview /h3pWe are hiring an experienced and highly motivated bLawyer (Global Licensing Regulatory Affairs) /b to lead our efforts in securing licenses for payments, remittance, e-money, and virtual asset services across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires strong expertise in financial regulations, hands-on experience with licensing processes, and the ability to coordinate with regulators, external counsel, and internal stakeholders. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ullibGlobal Licensing Strategy: /b Develop and execute licensing roadmap across EU, Latin America, Africa, South Asia, and Hong Kong for payments, e-money, remittances, and VASP/crypto-related services. /lilibRegulatory Applications: /b Prepare, review, and submit license applications; manage communications with regulators and government agencies. /lilibStakeholder Management: /b Engage and coordinate with external legal counsel, consultants, and regulatory authorities in multiple jurisdictions. /lilibCompliance Alignment: /b Work closely with Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams to ensure regulatory frameworks are embedded into product and operational design. /lilibMarket Research Monitoring: /b Track regulatory developments globally, identify opportunities/risks, and advise management on market entry requirements. /lilibPolicy Documentation: /b Draft and maintain internal policies, licensing documentation, and regulatory reports. /lilibRegulatory Advocacy: /b Represent Coins.ph in regulatory discussions, industry associations, and working groups to support favorable licensing outcomes. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor of Laws (LL.B.) above. /lili5+ years of post-qualification legal experience, with at least 3+ years in financial services, fintech, payments, or crypto. /liliStrong track record in securing financial/payment licenses in one or more of the following regions: EU, LatAm, Africa, South Asia, or Hong Kong. /liliDeep understanding of payment services regulations, AML/CFT, e-money licensing, and crypto/virtual asset regulatory frameworks. /liliStrong negotiation and stakeholder management skills with regulators and external counsel. /liliExcellent communication and legal drafting skills in English; additional languages (Chinese) a plus. /liliAbility to work across time zones and manage multiple licensing projects simultaneously. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
