We are looking for personnel to join our team and support key client projects. /p h3Who we are supporting /h3 pThe NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and information technology (IT) services to NATO's member countries and its partners. The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. /p pThe NCIA provides a wide range of services, including: /p ul liCyber Security: The NCIA provides advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect NATO's communication networks and information systems against cyber threats. /li liCommand and Control Systems: The NCIA develops and maintains the systems used by NATO's military commanders to plan and execute operations. /li liSatellite Communications: The NCIA provides satellite communications services to enable secure and reliable communications between NATO forces. /li liElectronic Warfare: The NCIA provides electronic warfare services to support NATO's mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks. /li liInformation Management: The NCIA manages NATO's information technology infrastructure, including its databases, applications, and servers. /li /ul pOverall, the NCIA plays a critical role in ensuring the security and effectiveness of NATO's communication and information technology capabilities. /p h3The program /h3 pAssistance and Advisory Service (AAS) /p pThe NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V. /p pTo provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce. /p h3Role ID – C /h3 h3Role Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupports coordination and facilitates data collection for Business Intake related processes: annual Demand Forecast exercise as well as Customer Request Forms (CRFs) with local stakeholders and leadership. /li liProvides administrative support to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings. /li liUses recommended portfolio, service and project control solutions for planning, scheduling, tracking of execution and delivery. /li liCompiles and distributes reports using NCIA dedicated reports and dashboards. /li liSupports accurate time accounting through direct user guidance and participation in weekly timesheet monitoring initiative. /li liProvides guidance on project and service management related software, procedures, processes, best practices, tools and techniques. /li liFacilitates and supports managers and teams in resourcing and recruitment activities, including onboarding /li liUses recommended tools for planning, scheduling and tracking resourcing activity. /li liContributes to transitioning of resources, complying with relevant statutory or external regulations and codes of practice. /li liProvides administrative support function to teams and meetings, follows up on action items if needed. /li liTakes an active part in team meetings and knowledge sharing sessions. /li liSets up files and libraries in intranet, compiles and distributes reports. /li liSets up and provides detailed guidance on software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques for administration and workplace productivity. /li liAnalyzes budgets for patterns and causes of budgeting inaccuracies. /li liImplements the organization's budget cycle and process. /li liParticipates in establishing procedures for planning, implementing and monitoring budgets. /li liAssists in the collection and preparation of required budget information. /li liWorks with capital budgets, operating budgets and cash budgets. /li liStudies and evaluates the audit trails of various operational processes. /li liParticipates in the testing, review and analysis of existing internal controls. /li liRe-engineers business processes for the sake of improving internal controls. /li liCompletes, files and maintains forms used for internal control documentation. /li liMakes recommendations for the enhancement of certain internal controls /li liCoordinates, supports and executes portfolio, budget and workforce processes within the designated area; /li liEnsures budget allocations and forecasts align with strategic priorities and available resources, including the development of scenario analyses to support informed decision-making. /li liFacilitates direct communication between CSUs leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with NCIA processes and objectives. /li liSupports and provides input to tasks related with BEP and QPRs. /li liSupports financial governance by ensuring compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards, contributing to audit readiness, and recommending improvements to financial processes, reporting accuracy, and internal controls. /li liPerforms other duties as may be required. /li liDeputizes for higher grade staff, if required. /li /ul h3Essential Skills, Experience and Certifications /h3 ul liExceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCIA, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post. /li liDemonstrated knowledge and experience in coordination roles within financial management, workforce management and project management in a customer-funded environment; /li liProven experience in planning, preparation, execution, and reporting related to financial management, workforce management, and project management activities. /li liKnowledge and experience in enterprise resource planning systems, project management processes, procedures and tools. /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liA minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience. /li /ul h3Working Location /h3 ul liNaples, Italy /li /ul h3Working Policy /h3 ul liOnsite /li /ul h3Travel /h3 ul liSome travel to other NATO sites may be required /li /ul h3Security Clearance /h3 ul liValid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
