Electrical Engineer (m/f/i) - (High Voltage) motors / transformers

pFor our European Engineered Materials department we are looking for a dynamic and flexible Electrical Engineer (m/f/i) with knowledge of (High Voltage) motors / transformers who enjoys working with domestic and international clients to evaluate their insulation systems according to American, European, and international requirements. /ppDue to testing being done at client's facilities, you are requested to travel frequently to different countries in Europe, to witness the testing. /ppYou will get an extensive training before working independently. You will work in a diverse and international team, working individually as well as collaborating with national and international colleagues. Initiates communication with clients to promote and explain the benefits of new and existing services. /p /lilipFollows up on contacts from clients. /p /lilipCommunicates with clients to discuss technical issues, explain UL procedures and requirements, negotiate completion date and sample requirements. /p /lilipActs to address client concerns and to resolve client issues. /p /lilipProvides technical assistance to clients in reference to product inspection and follow-up services. Establishes appropriate test programs by reviewing files and manufacturer's information and applying UL requirements. /p /lilipIs familiar with applicable standards, company manuals and appropriate technical literature. /p /lilipExamines samples for compliance with UL requirements and notifies client of any areas in which the product is not in compliance or of any changes in project scope or specifications. /p /lilipCoordinates laboratory activities by preparing data sheets and instructions to technicians, scheduling and reviewing work of laboratory technicians and engineering assistants and establishing completion dates. /p /lilipCoordinates administrative aspects of project management. /p /lilipMay serve as Project Handler of record and/or Reviewer of record as assigned. /p /lilipCommunicates project status and results to clients through frequent contact and by preparing reports. /p /lilipPrepares Follow-Up Service Procedures and information pages. /p /lilipIntegrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. /p /lilipResolves engineering issues associated with FUS Non Conformances by analyzing and reporting on the acceptability of the Non Conformance. /p /lilipAnalyzes test program for adequacy and sequence. /p /lilipMay coordinate and/or perform File Reviews, as directed. /p /lilipAssociate or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification, along with several years of relevant professional experience /p /lilipGerman language skills (speaking/reading and writing is a must have) /p /lilipEnglish language skills (fluent speaking/reading and writing is a must have) /p /lilipStrong customer service skills and willing to go the extra mile /p /lilipStrong communication, project management, and organizational skills /p /lilipGood analytical skills and looking for continuous improvement /p /lilipProficiency in Microsoft Office /p /lilipGreat cooperation skills and open for feedback /p /lilipWillingness to frequently travel to different countries in Europe. /p /lilipTotal Rewards: We understand that remuneration and benefits are important when deciding on your next career move.
