Posizione:

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPER

Within the Global BI organization and under its governance, the MSC Technology Italy – BI Developer mission is to provide analysis, design, deployment for BI solutions, implementing project good practices and quality processes. The position requires analytical and problem-solving skills with a technical background and leadership skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build and deploy SSAS solutions
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms (SSAS, SS)
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
• Develop and update technical documentation
• Provide guidance to the junior developers
• Develop and maintain Business Intelligence Dashboards (SSRS, Power BI)
• Perform and document data analysis, data testing, ad-hoc reports and POC validation using SQL on MS SQL servers
• Support and back up to the Team Leader on the daily activity and participate to the daily support.

Requisiti:

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Skills in the areas of Database and Datawarehouse design, preferably on Microsoft stack (SQL, SSAS, Tabular, Power BI)
• Data modeling and architectural patterns (star-schema)
• Development of measures and KPIs (strong knowledge of DAX)
• Data visualization and reporting (preferably using Power BI and SSRS
• Experience in related roles
• ETL development (preferably using Informatica Power Center and Informatica IDQ)
• Requirement gathering and technical specifications development.

Preferred

• Source control systems (git, TFS)
• Agile project methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

In compliance with the applicable pay transparency legislation, the following information is provided regarding the initial compensation foreseen for the position.

Applicable Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): Metalworking Industry Collective Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria)

Employment Category: White-collar employee

Gross Annual Salary (RAL): between €26.843,44 and € 33.058,74 gross per year, paid over 13 monthly installments.

The position within the salary range and the corresponding job classification level (C2, C3, B1 or B2 under the applicable CCNL) will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, technical competencies, and the level of autonomy and responsibility assigned to the role.
