Senior Product / Backend Engineer (Python, AI & IoT)

Our platform processes large volumes of telematics data from connected vehicles and transforms them into insights for companies managing fleets. /p pWe’re looking for a bSenior Product / Backend Engineer /b who wants to take ownership of real product problems and help us evolve our platform with data, IoT and AI. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 ul libDesign and build backend services /b for our telematics and data platform /li liWork with bstreaming and large-scale vehicle data /b /li liContribute to bAI-powered features /b across the product /li liBuild breliable infrastructure and APIs /b powering the SafeFleet platform /liliDesign and manage data models and storage using databases such as bPostgreSQL and MongoDB /b /li liTake bownership /b of features from idea to production /li /ul h3What we’re looking for /h3 ul liStrong experience with bPython /b (especially async frameworks) /li liExperience with bdata processing, streaming or IoT systems /b /li liSolid infrastructure knowledge: bLinux, Docker, AWS /b /li liExperience working with bdatabases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB /b /li liProduct mindset and strong sense of ownership /li liInterest in bAI and how it can improve real products /b /li liTeam player, enthusiastic and motivated to build things that matter /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience with bevent-driven architectures /b /li liFamiliarity with bAI APIs / LLM integrations /b /li liExperience working with bhigh-volume data systems /b /li /ul h3What we value /h3 pWe care about engineers who: /p ul litake responsibility for the product, not just the code /li lilike working collaboratively in small, focused teams /li liare curious and excited about new technologies like AI /li /ul pbLocation: /b Italy / Remote-friendly.
