About Us

Novamont, a Versalis (Eni) company, is a certified B Corporation Benefit Corporation, an international player in the biodegradable and compostable bioplastics sector and in the development of bioproducts and biochemicals, whether wholly or partly plant-based. We promote a circular approach to the bioeconomy aimed at redesigning the way materials and applications are produced, consumed, and disposed of, encouraging the emergence of virtuous local supply chains. By creating synergies between different areas of study (bioplastics, biotechnology, agronomy, organic chemistry, product ecology), we have developed and continue to develop a series of solutions with increasing renewable content, biodegradable and compostable, with multiple end-of-life scenarios. These solutions, from their inception, represent an opportunity to launch joint projects with stakeholders who share our need to rethink applications and supply chains with a view to ever-increasing resource efficiency.
