Overview
In this role you lead a sizeable Maintenance & Engineering organization at a large manufacturing site, driving plant reliability and continuous improvement. You will shape maintenance strategies, manage capital projects, and partner with production to optimize performance. This position offers impact across reliability, safety, and technical development within a global industrial setting. You will influence long-term strategy and contribute to a culture of excellence and compliance.

Responsabilità
- Lead the Maintenance & Engineering organization across a site of ~300 employees, coordinating a multidisciplinary team of 20+ professionals to maximise plant availability and reliability
- Develop preventive and corrective maintenance strategies, analyze downtime and KPIs, identify root causes and implement improvements
- Oversee engineering functions, manage investments, capital projects, and technical development initiatives aligned with medium- and long-term plant strategy
- Manage maintenance and engineering budgets, costs, and external partners to ensure cost efficiency and high-quality technical solutions
- Collaborate with Production and other functions to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement and best practices
- Build and develop a high-performing team while ensuring Health, Safety & Compliance and supporting career development and regulatory standards
Requisiti fondamentali
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable technical qualification
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in manufacturing; packaging industry is a strong advantage
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance, equipment reliability, root cause analysis, FMEA, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
- Experience managing maintenance projects, capital investments, budgets, and external contractors with a focus on cost optimization
- Good level of English
