Rental Operations Manager – HVAC Repair & Rental Logistic (Roma)

Reports to the Fulfillment Leader C&S. Responsible for ensuring full operational efficiency of HVAC repair and rental fulfillment activities in Rome, including logistics, inventory, and deployment of C/S projects.

Responsibilities

1. HVAC Repair & Test Loop Management

• Supervise diagnosis, repair, and testing of HVAC units in the test loop.
• Plan operational activities and assign team priorities based on business needs.
• Control repair costs, material consumption, and monitor KPI of efficiency and quality.
• Implement continuous improvement actions in alignment with the Rental Fulfillment Manager.
• Monitor technical inventory status, procurements, and reorder levels for operational continuity.
• Maintain standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with HSE norms and standards.
• Provide periodic reporting on productivity, cost, repairability rate, and cycle times.

2. Warehouse, Inventory & Rental Logistics Management

• Manage and supervise the service spare parts and rental warehouse—including receipt, storage, picking, preparation, and shipment.
• Coordinate operating logistics of the rental fleet, covering preparation, movement, transport, returns, and check-in/check-out activities.
• Control inventory accuracy and material flow correctness.
• Plan warehouse activities and balance workloads.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners.
• Optimize movement processes and reduce logistics costs.
• Implement and monitor key logistics KPIs, including inventory accuracy, lead time, and stock rotation.
• Ensure order, governance, and regulatory compliance within the Rome office logistics perimeter.
• Exercise managerial and decision-making autonomy within the assigned logistics perimeter.

3. Deployment of C/S Projects

• Act as a deployer to support all C/S managed projects, irrespective of the initiation logistics of the machines.
• Coordinate activities necessary for unit readiness, availability, and correct movement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely execution, operational continuity, and effective business support.
• Supervise operational priorities related to C/S projects, aligned with overall service and rental needs.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Solid operational leadership with ability to coordinate technical and logistical activities.
• Strong KPI orientation, cost control, and continuous improvement focus.
• Rapid, pragmatic, data-driven decision-making.
• Effective planning of priorities and field operations management.
• Excellent communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Technical HVAC knowledge, including components, faults, and functional testing.
• Experience in logistics, warehouse, rental fleet management, and ERP/WMS usage.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industrial operational contexts.
• Technical/management background and prior experience in operations or technical-logistics roles.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, result-oriented environments.

Compensation

Annual Base Salary Range: €30,800.00 – €54,950.00. Incentive eligible: Yes. Sales commission eligible: No.
