In this role, you will help establish the financial reporting and accounting governance foundations that support a growing international business. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDrive Financial Transparency: Ensure accurate, reliable, and timely financial reporting across the Business Group while supporting key management and corporate reporting requirements. /li liSupport Consolidation Closing Activities: Contribute to monthly and quarterly consolidation processes, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance with Group standards. /li liStrengthen Accounting Governance: Coordinate key accounting topics across international entities and support the resolution of complex accounting and audit-related matters. /li liProvide Meaningful Insights: Transform financial data into clear analyses and management information that support sound business decisions. /li liPartner Across the Organization: Collaborate with Finance teams, Shared Services, auditors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective issue resolution. /li liDrive Process Excellence: Identify opportunities to improve reporting, closing, and governance processes through standardization, digitalization, and continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. /li liExtensive years of experience in group reporting, consolidation, financial controlling, accounting governance, or corporate finance within an international environment. /li liStrong knowledge of IFRS, consolidation principles, financial reporting, month-end closing, provisions, accruals, and balance sheet management. /li liProven ability to analyze complex financial topics, challenge assumptions, and deliver high-quality results with accuracy and ownership. /li liStrong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, combined with a solid understanding of business impact. /li liExperience partnering across multiple entities, functions, and stakeholders in an international organization. /li liDemonstrated ability to drive process improvements, digitalization initiatives, and finance transformation projects. /li liStrong command of Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools; experience with HFM/Hyperion, Power BI, SAP BI, or similar platforms is an advantage. /li liFluent English; German is an advantage. /li /ul pThe Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
