Quality Engineer

We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Quality Engineer at our headquarters in Rieti.

The candidate will coordinate and manage quality control activities for a production process, ensuring that raw materials, processes, and finished products meet and comply with established standards. He/She will ensure compliance with specifications, procedures, and the quality plan during the product/process development, assembly, and validation phases by liaising with various company departments and external suppliers.

Activities

• Coordinate problem-solving activities related to internal reports and customer complaints;
• Collaborate on the management of product and process improvement projects;
• Handle complaints against suppliers;
• Ensure production quality by conducting document reviews and inspections during product shipment;
• Analyze and monitor production processes to identify and implement optimization measures in terms of efficiency and quality;
• Lead the development and control of the production process (introduction of new products and change management);
• Lead process and product improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering;
• Good knowledge of written, spoken, and read English;
• 2–3 years of experience in roles related to quality and/or production processes;
• Knowledge of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system;
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and risk analysis (FMEA);
• Ability to analyze data and be proactive;
• Knowledge of industrial production processes;
• Knowledge of DOE methodology is preferred;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad
