Experteer Overview

In this senior role you design scalable, secure AI architectures and guide AI initiatives from concept to production. You will serve as the primary technical authority within the AI & Data Center of Excellence, ensuring modular, risk-aware solutions aligned with enterprise standards. You’ll bridge business needs with engineering, shaping end-to-end AI pipelines and governance-enabled deployments. This is a high-impact role that partners across security, data, and infrastructure to drive enterprise-wide adoption of reusable AI patterns.Retribuzione / Benefits

• Design reference architectures for AI solutions across the enterprise
• Create end-to-end pipelines for Generative AI, ML, and agentic workflows
• Ensure modularity, reuse, and alignment with security/compliance standards
• Recommend optimal technical stacks for specific use cases
• Collaborate with AI governance to align architectures with risk and lifecycle requirements
• Evaluate technical feasibility of AI initiatives and run rapid prototyping (POCs/MVPs)
• Define requirements, model dependencies, and integration points for AI initiatives
• Coordinate with Security, Data, and Infrastructure to validate architectural assumptions
• Provide high-level effort estimates for AI implementations
• Support moving AI models from lab to production-ready systems
• Define scaling requirements and optimize architectures for latency, cost, and reliability
• Assess cost impact of model choices and orchestration designs
• Establish AI safety, bias mitigation, and Human-in-the-loop patterns
• Provide technical oversight and architecture reviews for AI projects
• Monitor emerging AI patterns (RAG, Fine-tuning, Multi-agent systems)
• Maintain reusable architecture patterns and component templates for scaling
• Design and execute technical assessments of AI models and new technologies
• Apply LLM validation frameworks to assess performance, safety, and suitability
• Review external AI products for architectural fit and integration readiness
• Stay updated on AI research to integrate new capabilities
• Ensure modular design to avoid architectural lock-in and maintain documentation

Responsabilità

• 5+ years designing end-to-end architectures for ML and Generative AI
• Proven track record with feasibility assessments and rapid prototyping
• Experience with enterprise-scale systems, security standards, and AI governance
• Expertise in AI design patterns (RAG, Fine-tuning, Agentic workflows) and model evaluation frameworks
• Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and ability to optimize for scalability, cost-efficiency, and reliability
• Professional English; Italian or other European languages are a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in CS, Data Science, Software Engineering or related quantitative field
• Solid foundations in Machine Learning and Software Architecture
