The Institutional Client Group (ICG) in Investment Bank - Fixed Income & Currencies, manages the Bank's relationships and trading activity with institutional investors across the full Debt product spectrum. ICG Debt leverages the global trading platforms of Deutsche Bank with regional expertise on five continents.

With leading market share in nearly every product, the success relies on factors such as our broad range of products, our tech infrastructure, our capacity to execute large and / or complex transactions, an to anticipate the impact of market and regulatory changes to clients’ business, and leveraging the Bank’s product, research and structuring expertise to offer tailor-made solutions which are customized to meet the specific requirements of each individual client.

The Sales Specialist will work with the Lead Salespersons to meet the team revenue targets. 

 

Responsibilities

• Support the Southern Europe Rates Sales team in developing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients.
• Assist in the origination, structuring and execution of Rates transactions across cash and derivative products.
• Monitor interest-rate markets, central-bank developments and macroeconomic trends and provide relevant market intelligence to clients.
• Develop and communicate trade ideas, market updates and tailored hedging and investment solutions.
• Work closely with Rates Trading, Structuring and Research to respond to client enquiries, provide pricing and execute transactions.
• Perform quantitative, market and client analysis to support business development and client discussions.
• Prepare client presentations, meeting materials and business analytics, and support the monitoring of client activity and the opportunity pipeline.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory, compliance, conduct and internal control requirements.

 

Skills

• Master’s degree (Magistrale or higher).
• Proficient Knowledge of English, and Italian. Other languages would be a plus.
• Strong Knowledge of fixed Income Markets and Derivatives.
• Previous experience (internship count too) in a bank dealing room (not necessarily in sales).
• Proven ability to leverage IT and AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
