Acting as the key technical interface with internal teams, consultants, EPC contractors, and grid operators, the position plays a critical role in delivering bankable and technically optimized renewable energy projects /ppbWhat will you do? /b /pulliLead engineering activities during development, design, construction and commissioning phases of solar PV and BESS projects. /liliReview and validate conceptual, basic and detailed engineering designs prepared by internal teams and external partners. /liliSupport technology selection, plant layout optimization and technical due diligence activities. /liliEnsure compliance with applicable technical standards, regulations and company requirements. /liliTechnical Lead grid connection strategy and execution for renewable energy projects in Italy. /liliManage interconnection processes with grid operators, including ENEL and TERNA. /liliSupervise the design and optimization of substations, transmission lines and HV connection infrastructure. /liliCoordinate activities required to obtain grid permits, energization and operational readiness. /liliPerform technical-economic assessments and support CAPEX optimization initiatives. /liliReview engineering assumptions, technical specifications and project budgets. /liliIdentify technical risks, design gaps and optimization opportunities throughout project development and execution. /liliSupport investment and procurement decisions through technical analysis and engineering recommendations. /liliProvide engineering support during construction, commissioning and testing activities. /liliCoordinate technical interfaces among EPC contractors, consultants, developers, suppliers and internal teams. /liliPrepare technical reports and project updates for management decision-making. /liliLead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams /li /ulpbWhat do we need? /b /pulliBachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. /liliMinimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy engineering or grid connection processes. /liliStrong experience in utility-scale PV projects, HV Lines and Substation; BESS experience is highly valued. /liliKnowledge of Italian grid connection procedures, including ENEL and TERNA requirements. /liliExperience managing engineering consultants, EPC contractors and multidisciplinary stakeholders. /liliStrong understanding of HV infrastructure, substations and grid integration processes. /liliFluent Italian and English. /li /ulpbWhat do we offer? /b /pulliCareer development in a leading international environment. /liliYearly bonus based on objectives. /liliHybrid Remote work model and additional remote weeks. /liliTicket Restaurant. /liliMetaSalute. /li /ulpbJoin a team of passionate and talented individuals making a positive impact in the world! /b /ppAt X-ELIO, we are an equal opportunity employer.
