This individual will lead projects that optimize processes, implement tools, and enhance operational efficiency and governance. This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional with approximately four to five years of project management experience to take on greater ownership within a dynamic and collaborative environment. If you thrive on leading initiatives, excel in a team-driven setting, and enjoy translating strategic goals into actionable plans, this is the role for you. /ph3Job Description /h3h3KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /h3ulliPMO Operations Development: Partner with PMO leadership to shape and implement operational plans that align with Alira Health’s strategic goals. Own and refine operational metrics to ensure the effectiveness of PMO initiatives, recommending adjustments to leadership as needed. Design and implement frameworks for managing internal governance and accountability across projects. /liliProject Portfolio Management: Lead medium- to large-scale projects and coordinate broader strategic initiatives across multiple stakeholders. Own the creation of project charters, timelines, and reports, ensuring accountability for on-time and on-budget delivery. Use KPIs to assess the success of initiatives and drive process improvements based on data-driven insights. /liliProcess Optimization and Innovation: Drive the continuous improvement of PMO and Alira Health processes at the Business Unit level through lean and agile methodologies. Lead the identification and rollout of new tools and technologies that enhance operational efficiency, including software implementation initiatives. /liliStakeholder and Communication Management: Lead communication across cross-functional teams to align objectives and drive seamless collaboration, serving as a key point of escalation. Own the creation of client governance frameworks to enhance stakeholder satisfaction and project outcomes. Present project performance and operational updates directly to leadership, providing recommendations for course correction. /liliProfessional Development and Team Collaboration: Mentor and provide guidance to team members on best practices. Contribute to the professional development of the PMO team by sharing knowledge and lessons learned. Actively participate in a feedback-oriented culture, both giving and receiving constructive input to strengthen team performance. /liliIT Governance: Own oversight of the IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives. Define and track IT-related KPIs and metrics to evaluate project success and system performance. Lead engagements with Business Process Owners to define requirements, manage priorities, and streamline IT and software solutions across departments, including new system implementations. Ensure IT projects adhere to governance standards, including compliance with security and regulatory requirements. Drive communication between the PMO, Operational, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of tools and technologies that support operational objectives. /li /ulh3DESIRED QUALIFICATION EXPERIENCE /h3ulliBachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Healthcare, Operations, Logisitcs, or Life Sciences. /liliMaster’s degree in related fields (e.g., Healthcare Management, Engineering, or Economics) strongly preferred. /lili4-5 years of experience in project management, operations, or related fields, including experience leading cross-functional projects. /liliExperience in healthcare is a plus. /liliAt least 1 year of hands-on experience with the implementation of at least one type of business software solution, such as ERP, PSA, HRIS, CRM, or ATS platforms (e.g., Unit4, OpenAir, SAP, Workday, Salesforce, or similar). /liliLocation Barcelona, Spain In-office presence required for the first 6 months, 50% required moving forward /li /ulh3TECHNICAL COMPETENCES SOFT SKILLS /h3pTechnical competencies: Strong analytical skills with the ability to define, track, and interpret KPIs and operational metrics, and translate them into actionable recommendations. Proficiency and experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Proven track record with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., lean, PMP, or agile practices) Proven ability to redesign business processes by combining domain expertise, automation, and generative AI technologies, with a focus on reducing manual effort, improving scalability, and increasing the leverage of senior professionals. Software implementation experience for enterprise software (ERP, PSA, HRIS, CRM, ATS, or similar platforms). Strong command of portfolio management concepts and IT governance principles. Proven experience with operational reporting and performance monitoring. Advanced business English proficiency (written and verbal) Additional languages such as Spanish, Italian, or German are a plus /ppSoft Skills: Experience working in international teams, preferably between the EU and US. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with, and influence, cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. Adaptability and sound judgment in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to tackle unstructured challenges. Time management and organizational skills with high attention to detail. Proactive, collaborative, and capable of driving initiatives to completion.
