Technical Project Engineer - Genoa

Are you an engineer with a genuine interest in technology and looking for an opportunity to grow in an international company? Firefly is now looking for a Technical Project Engineer (TPL) to join our team in Genoa. This is a varied role where you will combine technical project management, engineering, customer support and collaboration with colleagues across Europe.

About the role

As a Technical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical execution of customer projects - from order to commissioning. You will work closely with Sales, Production, Service and our customers to ensure high-quality project delivery.

Your responsibilities include:

• Managing projects from order to commissioning
• Taking technical responsibility throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinating with Sales, Production, Service and customers
• Preparing technical calculations, including hydraulic and CO₂ calculations
• Creating and updating 3D/CAD drawings and system documentation
• Supporting customer visits and technical meetings
• Updating supervision systems
• Providing technical support to installation partners and customers when needed

The position includes approximately 35 travel days per year . During your first year, you will travel more frequently to Poland and Sweden for onboarding and training.

We believe you have:

• A technical education or experience from process industries or electrical installation
• A strong technical interest and willingness to develop
• Knowledge of electrical systems (low and/or high voltage)
• Experience with signal systems
• Experience with CAD or other design software
• Good communication skills in English and Italian
