We’re a fast-growing, tech-driven company looking for top talent to help build the future of road travel. /p h3THE ROLE /h3 pWe’re looking for an Operations Manager to lead daily execution across a group of 2-3 depots and approximately 300-450 vehicles.br/Reporting to the District Manager, you’ll lead Operations Supervisors and their depot teams, ensuring vehicles are ready and delivered on time, teams have the right staffing and knowledge, and operating standards are consistently followed.br/This is a hands-on, field-based leadership position. You’ll be based at the largest depot within your assigned group, travel frequently between locations, and serve as the first escalation point for critical operational issues. /p h3WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON? /h3 ul liLead operational performance across 2-3 depots, delivering service, productivity, quality, and cost targets /li liManage, coach, and develop Operations Supervisors, setting clear daily and weekly expectations /li liEnsure vehicles are ready, safe, clean, and available for on-time customer check-ins and check-outs /li liMonitor daily and weekly KPIs, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions /li liManage labor, overtime, scheduling, productivity, and operating expenses within the approved budget /li liCoordinate workforce coverage across locations, particularly during seasonal and operational peaks /li liEnsure consistent execution of SOPs, safety standards, compliance requirements, and people practices /li liResolve escalated operational and customer issues and prevent recurrence /li liImplement new processes, systems, and district initiatives across assigned depots /li liReport performance, risks, and resource needs to the District Manager /li liVisit each assigned depot weekly or fortnightly and complete at least one frontline shift per month /li liServe as the first escalation point when an Operations Supervisor cannot resolve a critical issue /li liMaintain availability during weekends and holidays when operationally necessary, including a Thursday-to-Monday working pattern during the six busiest months of the year /li /ul h3WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? /h3 ul li5-8 years of experience in hands-on operations, ideally within mobility, rent-a-car, logistics, retail, hospitality, or another high-volume customer-facing environment /li liAt least 2-3 years of experience leading teams, several locations, or one high-volume site /li liExperience managing labor, overtime, operating costs, scheduling, and location-level budgets /liliStrong understanding of KPIs, workforce planning, fleet coordination, and operational improvement /li liA visible, hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside frontline teams /li liStrong coaching, problem-solving, and performance-management skills /li liExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skills /li liProfessional fluency in English; additional local language capability is a plus /li liStrong Excel or Google Sheets skills and experience with operational or reporting tools /li liA valid driver's license and willingness to drive campervans /li liAvailability to travel frequently between assigned depots and respond to critical operational needs /li liFleet management or vehicle maintenance experience /li liLean, Six Sigma, safety, project management, or similar operations certifications /li liExperience implementing operational change across multiple locations /li liExperience in highly seasonal or geographically dispersed operations /li /ul h3THE INDIE COMMITMENT! /h3 ul liBeing part of a young, fast-growing and innovative company where you make a difference. /li liCareer development opportunities in Field Operations and transition opportunities to our Offices in Lisbon, Mexico City or Manila. /li liContinuous training and coaching to develop the skills that matter to you. /li liCompensation package that includes Performance and Referral Bonuses. /li liFree Road Trips, so you can experience Indie firsthand - trips around Europe, North America and Oceania. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
