Health and Safety Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee H&S compliance throughout pre-construction and construction phases.
- Ensure compliance with Italian H&S legislation, particularly D.Lgs. 81/08.
- Review contractor and subcontractor H&S documentation and competency.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits and H&S assessments.
- Monitor construction activities, identify risks and drive corrective actions.
- Coordinate with contractors, Safety Coordinators and wider project stakeholders.
- Review risk assessments, method statements and construction safety plans.
- Manage statutory H&S documentation and notifications.
- Report H&S performance, deficiencies and non-compliances to project leadership.
- Take appropriate action, including work stoppage where required for serious safety risks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a senior Construction H&S role.
- Strong knowledge of Italian H&S legislation / D.Lgs. 81/08.
- Experience managing contractor/subcontractor H&S compliance.
- Strong construction site inspection and risk management experience.
- Fluent in Italian and good English.
- Relevant H&S, Construction or Engineering qualification.
- Data centre, mission-critical or large-scale construction experience highly desirable.
