We are looking for a Project Manager with a software or systems background to join the R&D department in Bologna. The role involves leading cross‑functional and international teams and managing R&D projects from concept to the start of production, ensuring alignment with time, quality, scope, and cost targets in accordance with Toyota processes. Qualifications / Requirements Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent 2+ years of experience in Project Management within software R&D environments Experience with software development lifecycle (Agile or hybrid models) Project Management certifications (PMP, CSM, PRINCE2) are a plus Proficiency in Git and Dev Ops practices to maintain stable, collaborative and efficient R&D codebases Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, and MS Project Organized, proactive, and structured mindset Key Responsibilities Lead R&D projects Coordinate the work of R&D teams (software, electronic, mechanical) with other corporate functions throughout the project development process Plan, monitor, and report project activities and milestones Ensure alignment with Toyota New Product Development processes Support continuous improvement of project management practices Opportunity & Benefits Learn and work in an international environment, with daily contact with Toyota companies worldwide Support and apply Toyota R&D practices Work in close and continuous collaboration with research teams Manage projects according to the Toyota New Product Development process Gain a broad overview of company departments and R&D activities #J-18808-Ljbffr
