Job SummaryOn behalf of a world-famous and premium Solar PV manufacturer, AD Energy Recruitment is searching for a Sales Director – Italy to lead growth and capture market share across the Italian Solar systems market.
Responsibilities- Facilitate execution of the regional sales business plan in Italy.
- Stay close to market activities and trends to evaluate and adjust sales strategy.
- Keep abreast of the solar market, suggest and pursue sales opportunities in the region.
- Continually establish and develop business relationships with medium and large wholesalers, EPCs, and developers.
- Carry out and coordinate pre‑sales activities, and win large, multi‑MW deals for equipment supply.
- Create sales and technical quotations for clients.
- Forge business relationships with new clients, negotiate, and close terms.
- Lead, develop and expand a team of top‑class sales professionals.
- Actively extend personal and professional solar‑PV network with relevant partners, funders, consultants, and developers.
- Be a brand advocate, possessing complete knowledge of solutions.
- Hold a technical degree in Energy, Power, Electronics, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of technical sales and commercial leadership experience within the Italian Solar PV market.
- Track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
- Strong knowledge of solar and photovoltaic technology.
- Direct experience in sales management with distributors and installers.
- Strong foundation network with EPCs, developers, and funders.
- Technical aptitude, ability to process and present technical information to clients.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Flexible and willing to travel across the country.
- Engaging and charismatic character.
- Deal‑closing and business negotiation skills.
- Hunter type nature, highly motivated, and independent.
- Ability to work in a rapid, high‑pressure, and international environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
