This role supports projects from concept through implementation by preparing technical specifications, performing calculations and analysis, reviewing designs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards, safety requirements, and project objectives. /p /br /brh3What kind of work will you be doing? /h3 /brul /brliParticipate in the design and development process of electronic boards and electrical systems. /li /brliPrepare technical specifications, design documents, drawings, and engineering reports. /li /brliDevelop schematics using Siemens' Xpedition EDM PCB design software. /li /brliLayout PCBs using Siemens' Xpedition EDM PCB design software or manage this activity with external collaborators. /li /brliPerform electrical calculations, simulations, and technical analyses. /li /brliReview designs to ensure compliance with applicable standards, safety requirements, and project specifications. /li /brliSupport testing, validation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities. /li /brliIdentify and resolve technical issues during design, manufacturing, installation, or operation. /li /brliCollaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, customers, and project stakeholders. /li /brliSelect electrical components, materials, and equipment based on technical and project requirements. /li /brliSupport risk assessments, product improvements, and corrective actions. /li /brliMaintain accurate engineering documentation and ensure proper document control. /li /br /ul /br /brh3What will make you successful? /h3 /brul /brliBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. /li /brli1 or 2 years of experience in a similar field. /li /brliStrong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, systems, and components. /li /brliExperience with electrical design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting. /li /brliAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications. /li /brliFamiliarity with electrical simulation, design, or calculation tools. /li /brliExperience in EDA tool Siemens' Xpedition EDM PCB design software. /li /brliUnderstanding power distribution, control systems, circuits, or related electrical applications. /li /brliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /li /brliGood attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation. /li /brliAbility to work effectively with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and customers. /li /brliGood communication and project coordination skills. /li /brliStrong in planning, analysis, and communication. /li /brliCollaborative team player. /li /brliMaintains a customer-focused approach and is willing to travel as needed. /li /br /ul /br /brpThe successful candidate will embrace Vertiv’s Core Principals Behaviors to help execute our Strategic Priorities. /p /br /brh3OUR CORE PRINCIPALS /h3 /brp: Safety.
