Objective

The software and test engineers in the Acquiring Global Products back office team develop systems through which merchants all around the world manage their payments and through which millions of electronic payments are processed daily.

In addition to the core systems, which ensure smooth payment transactions, we develop web applications as an entry point for our customers.

Activity

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Help to build stable and at the same time modern systems.
• Work in an Agile DevOps team that accompanies features from analysis, design, implementation, functional testing to operation and support (incl. stand-by).
• Bring your enthusiasm to try out and use Leading Edge technologies and learn a lot in the process.
• Develop solutions for our customers based on current Java technologies.

Who Are We Looking For

We look for big thinkers. People who can drive positive change, step up and show what’s next – people with passion, can-do attitude and a hunger to learn and grow. In practice this means:

• Passion for software development
• Very good knowledge of English, written and spoken
• Computer Science Education (College, University)
• Experience with Java 11+ and database software development (mainly Oracle SQL/PLSQL)
• Practical knowledge with versioning, preferably Git
• Customer-oriented and independent
• Flexible, creative and pragmatic team player
• Availability for on call duty calls 24⁄7 in order to ensure the operational uptime and efficiency of our applications

Salary Information

In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the salary range for this position is between:

Italy: 48,000.00 euro and 65,000.00 euro gross annual salary.

The final offer will be determined based on the candidate’s professional experience, specific skills, and qualifications.
