As Smart Planning & Material Flow Specialist , you will support the implementation and optimization of digital tools aimed at enhancing material planning and flow production control across operations.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the deployment and continuous improvement of digital tools and systems for materials planning and flow production control.
• Collaborating with planning, production, and IT teams to ensure data integration, accuracy, and system alignment with operational needs.
• Assisting in the monitoring of material availability, inventory levels, and production flow through digital dashboards and analytics tools.
• Contributing to the configuration, testing, and maintenance of planning tools (e.g., MRP, APS, scheduling systems).
• Supporting the identification of process gaps and inefficiencies, proposing data-driven improvements to optimize material flow and production performance.
• Collecting, analyzing, and validating data to ensure consistency across systems and enable effective decision-making.
• Participating in cross-functional initiatives to improve end-to-end supply chain visibility and responsiveness.
• Ensuring traceability and data integrity within digital systems supporting material management and production processes.
• Supporting training activities and user adoption of new digital tools and solutions.
• Complying with company policies and processes, including compliance, quality, production, EHS, HR & Admin, Lean, and digital governance standards.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or demonstrated equivalent experience.
• Be able to work independently and be able to identify and drive process improvements.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in cross-functional teams in a global-matrix environment.
• Show effective problem identification and solution skills.
• Be fluent in Italian, both oral and written.
• Show good knowledge of MS Office and Enterprise Resource Planning systems.

Desired Characteristics

• Strong oral and written communication skills and fluency with the English language.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership & influencing skills.
• Display leading attitude for improvement and innovation initiatives.
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
• Six Sigma training or equivalent Quality Training. Knowledge of value stream mapping, one-piece flow, AWO, Kaizen, 5s and other lean tools is preferred.

For Italy: The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 38,603.44 To 49,500.

The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
