Forward Deployed Data Scientist (On-site)

As a Forward Deployed Data Scientist, you will translate customer needs into data-driven solutions that impact enterprise localization and AI-powered translation products. You’ll work across data science, product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to uncover opportunities, build models and dashboards, and deploy analytics that drive measurable business outcomes. This role combines hands-on modeling with stakeholder communication to deliver reusable data capabilities. You’ll engage directly with customers to understand objectives and deliver tailored insights that scale.

• Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to define data-driven problems and objectives
• Identify data sources and conduct exploratory analysis to uncover actionable insights
• Develop metrics, statistical analyses, ML models, and data-driven solutions
• Design experiments and measurement frameworks to evaluate initiatives
• Analyze key business indicators such as translation quality, revenue, and operational performance
• Build prototypes and collaborate with engineers to deploy production solutions
• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Present recommendations to leadership, customers, and stakeholders
• Define success criteria and continuously improve deployed solutions
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, AI researchers, sales, and customer teams
• Foster reusable analytical methods and best practices across the company
• Stay updated on data science, ML, analytics, and applied AI

• 3+ years of professional data science or related experience
• Strong knowledge of statistics, probability, and experimental design
• Excellent Python programming skills
• Experience with SQL and large, complex datasets
• Experience with data exploration, modeling, and evaluation
• Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into measurable problems
• Experience defining business and product metrics to support decision-making
• Familiarity with data pipelines, warehouses, and analytical workflows
• Experience with a BI or data visualization tool (e.g., Metabase, Tableau, Superset)
• Clear communication of technical findings to diverse audiences
• Strong problem-solving and results-oriented mindset
• Project management with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent written and spoken English
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related field
