Central Europe - Regional Digital Lead

The objective of this role is to provide strategic digital leadership across Central Europe, ensuring the region is well-positioned to support and advance the objectives of the global digital strategy. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and improving margin performance through the expansion and adoption of our digital offerings, while championing excellence and innovation in the application of digital solutions across project delivery.
This role requires a highly collaborative and commercially minded leader with the ability to influence and engage executive stakeholders at both national and global levels. The ideal candidate will bring a strong client-centric mindset, a proven track record of leading transformational initiatives, and an enterprise-wide perspective across WSP’s diverse business lines, enabling the identification and delivery of integrated digital opportunities that create value for both clients and the business.
The location of this role is not geographically fixed;
however, it should align with one of our regional offices within the following operational countries: Italy, Spain, France, the Netherlands, or Denmark.
YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?
Support global digital strategy with focus on Central Europe(CE), In-Region growth of WSP’s global digital offers.

• Own and deliver the CE digital growth plan, aligning with global offerings and regional growth-cycle planning across sectors.
• Maintain oversight of the CE digital advisory/services/platforms portfolio, using KPIs to track performance and inform priorities.
• Lead work-winning for digital offerings and platforms, building and reporting a healthy CE pipeline to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction.
• Act as the primary CE interface to the Global Client Programme (GCP), engaging key clients to understand needs and shape business development.
• Build and manage ecosystem partnerships to unlock new revenue streams and strengthen WSP’s external profile.
• Lead regional digital marketing and communications, representing WSP externally (events, thought leadership) and building internal engagement and adoption.
• Monitor market and industry trends, and work with other regional leads to align global digital strategy and workstreams to CE priorities.
• Own the regional digital project delivery strategy, driving consistent ways of working, quality, and scalable delivery across CE.
  

YOUR TEAM

• You will be part of a global/regional committee of regional/CE digital leads, and are expected to work with regional leadership teams.
• You will engage with colleagues and digital leaders across the WSP regional/CE business.
• You will work closely with strategic clients across all sectors within your region, and contribute to global client programmes.
  

WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE

• A strong leadership profile within your regional business and local markets for digital.
• Ability to win work & contribute to others winning work across the CE/EMEIA region
• Qualification in relevant subjects at graduate level, relevant professional accreditation(s), and 10+ years’ experience in digitally related fields.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to develop and maintain client relationships and drive client satisfaction through excellence in digital delivery.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to present complex ideas and information in clear and simple ways and secure shared understanding and buy-in.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in influencing and building relationships, including with senior stakeholders and technical subject matter experts.
• A collaborative, agile, and results-oriented approach.
• Experience working at a national level or within a business of comparative scale and complexity.
