Transactional Risk Broker (M&A Lawyer) (Open)

In Milan, Marsh PEMA seeks a Transactional Risk Broker to structure and place Transactional Risk Insurance for private equity M&A deals, guiding underwriting and negotiations. You will interact with PE firms, corporations and law firms to source and manage deals, while growing the M&A insurance business with cross-border collaboration. This role blends legal acumen with risk finance to support clients through complex transactions. You will help shape Marsh’s leadership in M&A risk solutions and deliver value across deals.

• Structure and place Transactional Risk Insurance solutions (Warranty & Indemnity, contingent liability, litigation buy-out, environmental M&A)
• Manage underwriting process for Italian deals (confidentiality, indications, policy drafting, term negotiation, underwriting requests, policy issuance)
• Interact with Private Equity Firms, Corporate executives, law firms, and banks to source deals
• Build relationships across Italy and abroad to advise on M&A insurance and support growth

• Master's Degree in Laws
• Up to 7 years’ experience in corporate transactions in private practice with emphasis on private M&A
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Strong organizational and project management attitude with attention to detail
• Client orientation, commercial acumen, decision-making, resilience and persuasiveness
• Team skills, responsibility, flexibility
• Experience with corporate tax is a plus, international experience is a plus
