Intellectual Property & Venturing Intern

RINA is currently recruiting for a Intellectual Property & Venturing Intern to join its office in Florence (Italy) within the  Partnership, IP & Venturing Management Division.​

Mission

As an Intern within the IP & Venturing team, you will provide operational support to partnership initiatives involving public, institutional, and private stakeholders. You will contribute to day ‑ to ‑ day coordination activities, information gathering, document preparation, and progress tracking, helping the team deliver projects efficiently and consistently. Through this internship, you will gain hands ‑ on exposure to IP & Venturing workflows.

Key Accountabilities

Operational Support to IP & Venturing
-Support daily activities related to IP & Venturing, including scheduling follow ‑ ups, information collection, and meeting notes.
-Prepare operational materials (briefs, notes, presentations, partnership sheets) using established templates.
-Support scouting activities and the collection of preliminary information on startups, corporations, and technology partners.

Cross ‑ Functional Coordination
-Facilitate information flow between the different stakeholders among Prometeo and other Business Units.

-Maintain and update repositories, documentation, templates, and operational tools.
-Support coordination activities across teams, following established guidelines.

IP & Venturing Governance, KPIs & Reporting
-Establish operating rhythm to ensure process execution seamless.
-Prepare periodic updates, reports, and presentation materials for Steering Committees and Innovation Boards.
-Maintain operational records including notes, activity logs, repositories, and templates.

Education

Master’s Degree in Management Engineering or Economics

Qualifications

• Interest in innovation ecosystems, partnerships, and stakeholder management
• Deal structuring and Financial basics
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Good analytical and document‑synthesis skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Working knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken

Compensation Data

The internship is designed as a training and orientation experience and, as such, provides a monthly allowance in accordance with applicable regional regulations and Company policies.
