International Accountant

Evolus (Nasdaq:EOLS) is a performance beauty company with a customer‑centric approach focused on delivering breakthrough products. We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Accountant (Italy) to join our International Accounting team, reporting to the International Financial Controller. This role supports day‑to‑day accounting activities for the Italian entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting and contributing to month‑end and year‑end close processes. The position manages accounts payable, cash reconciliations and general ledger activities while driving process improvements and cross‑functional collaboration.

This job provides critical support to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial operations in Italy and contributes to the broader international accounting function.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and perform general ledger reconciliations.
• Perform cash reconciliations and monitor cash balances.
• Manage accounts payable activities, including recording and reconciling vendor transactions.
• Resolve discrepancies with vendor statements in a timely manner.
• Ensure expenses are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
• Prepare weekly accounts payable payment runs and cash outflow forecasts.
• Maintain vendor accounts, including setup, review of payment terms, and updates of master data.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Produce financial reports and analyses as required by management.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to gather relevant financial information and support business needs.
• Participate in accounting and process improvement projects.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities within the scope of the role.
• Office Location – Milan, Italy (hybrid onsite Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
• Limited travel may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounts payable and general ledger activities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Your actual base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on a number of considerations including but not limited to role‑relevant knowledge and skills, experience, education, geographic location, certifications, and more.
