Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing seeks a Business Developer to drive sales growth and manage client relationships in the pharmaceutical sector. The role involves promoting analytical services, acquiring new clients, and coordinating commercial activities across two Italian locations.
Responsibilities
- Promote GMP analytical services and identify tailored outsourcing solutions for clients
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for analytical services with management
- Conduct client visits and acquire new business accounts
- Manage commercial negotiations and sales promotion campaigns directly
- Coordinate with internal departments to develop effective commercial proposals and maintain CRM records
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or related scientific discipline
- Minimum 3 years commercial experience in pharmaceutical or related sectors
- Fluent English language skills
- Strong customer-focused orientation and networking abilities
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
- Strategic planning capability and autonomous activity management
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% domestically and internationally
Compensation: €38,000–€51,000 base plus variable compensation based on agreed objectives; company vehicle provided
