We are looking for a Product Performance Engineer for our plant in San Giovanni Valdarno, with a strong focus on product behavior analysis, design robustness, and verification of design against applicable standards. /p pbYour Responsibilities /b /p ul liAnalyze the performance and behavior of the global installed base of charging solutions, identifying trends, weak points, and improvement opportunities across hardware and software architectures /li liLead structured problem‑solving activities (8D / 5‑Why) with a strong emphasis on failure mechanisms, system interactions, and design robustness, working cross‑functionally to define effective containment, corrective, and preventive actions /li liSupport teams inverifying design solutions against standards requirements, clarifying interpretation, identifying potential mismatches between design intent and standards expectations, and translating standards constraints into actionable engineering inputs /li liDrive product reliability and performance improvements throughengineering analysis, design feedback, enhanced test coverage, and validation strategies, rather than compliance‑driven activities /li liSupport global development projects by contributing todesign reviews, failure mode analysis, risk identification, and performance validation, ensuring lessons learned from the field are translated into better product designs /li liCoach and support project teams in complex customer issue resolution, providingengineering insight on root causes, design trade‑offs, and performance limitations from early development phases through industrialization and field operation /li /ul pbYour Background /b /p ul liMaster’s degree inElectrical, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering /li liStrong analytical mindset with the ability to understandcomplex systems involving power electronics, digital hardware, control, and software interactions /li li2+ years of experience in engineering, RD, service, or product performance roles within electronic or electrical systems (automotive or energy systems experience is a plus) /li liSolid interest in power electronics, circuit theory, system diagnostics, and laboratory measurements, with hands‑on or analytical exposure to real product behavior /li liGood written and spoken English, with a collaborative and solution‑oriented engineering approach /li liAvailability for occasional international travel (approx. 5%) /li /ul pbWhat’s in it for you? /b /p pWork with the best specialists in their field, in a diverse environment with unparalleled global reach. The specific level and compensation package will be defined based on the outcome of the selection process (including experience, skills set, and role fit), in accordance with objective, transparent, and gender-neutral criteria, in line with pay equity and equal opportunity principles.
