Compliance Manager

T his person will be based in Milan(with the possibility of hybrid remote working)and report to the General Counsel.br/ /ppWhat you’ll do:br/ /pulliSupport the ongoing implementation, maintenance andcontinuous improvement of the company’s compliance framework, policies andprocedures, proposing updates or new initiatives where appropriate.br/ /liliMonitor the effectiveness of existing compliancecontrols and processes, identify opportunities for improvement and recommendpragmatic solutions to enhance efficiency and consistency across theorganization.br/ /liliConduct regular assessments and audits to identifypotential compliance risks and areas for improvement and independently managefollow-up actions and remediation plans.br/ /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams, includinglegal, finance, operations, and project management, to integrate complianceconsiderations into business processes and decision-making.br/ /liliMonitor changes in regulatory requirements andindustry trends, and proactively advise senior management on potential impactsand opportunities.br/ /liliCoordinate and deliver existing compliance trainingprograms and, where needed, develop additional training or awarenessinitiatives to address emerging risks or business needs.br/ /liliServe as a primary point of contact for ourshareholders, plus for regulatory agencies, industry associations, and otherexternal stakeholders on compliance-related matters, in coordination with theGeneral Counsel where appropriate.br/ /liliSupport internal investigations into potentialcompliance breaches or concerns, including gathering information, coordinatingrelevant stakeholders, documenting findings and monitoring the implementationof corrective actions.br/ /liliMaintain accurate records and documentation related tocompliance activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.br/ /liliPrepare regular reports and presentations for seniormanagement, board of directors and relevant stakeholders highlighting keycompliance metrics, initiatives, and challenges.br/ /liliSupport the General Counsel on sustainability and ESG topics,including governance framework design, the update of group policies andprocedures, and ESG reporting towards investors.br/ /liliStay abreast of emerging compliance frameworks andtechnologies, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance efficiency andeffectiveness.br/ /li /ulh3Requirements /h3pWhat you’ll need:br/ /pulliMaster degree in law;advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compliance Ethics Professional) preferred.br/ /lili4-6 years of experience in compliance management,preferably within the renewable energy industry or a closely related sector.br/ /liliGood understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks,such as environmental regulations, energy policies, and corporate governancerequirements.br/ /liliHands-on experience in managing and maintainingcompliance programs, policies, procedures, risk assessments and controls within a complex or international organization.br/ /liliExcellent analytical skills and attention to detail,with the ability to identify compliance risks and develop pragmatic solutions.br/ /liliEffective communication and interpersonal skills, withthe ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels ofthe organization.br/ /liliSound judgment and integrity, with a commitment toupholding ethical standards and promoting a culture of integrity andaccountability.br/ /liliProficiency in relevant software applications andtools, including compliance management systems and data analytics platforms, isa plus.br/ /liliVery fluent Italian and English;
