Partner with the best The Lead Engineer – Subsea Distribution Systems is responsible for design and development of products for the subsea oil fields distribution system. As a Lead Engineer, Subsea Distribution Systems, you will be responsible for:- Establishing technical requirements based on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards.
- Leading and contributing on design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule.
- Working cross functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables.
- Presenting design outcomes in design reviews when and as relevant.
- Be accountable for cost out activities, budget monitoring and eng plans progress.
- Managing engineering suppliers on the technical standpoint, providing guidance and granting compliance to applicable technical and contractual requirements.
- Providing engineering support to program management and any other stakeholders.
- Supporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products.
- Providing consultancy advice to the project bid team.
- Have a Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Be an expert in 3D CAD modelling.
- Have Subsea equipment knowledge and relevant design methodologies (desired).
- Have a robust mechanical design background with proven experience in a similar role.
- Be proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility.
- Have strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.
- Have strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
