Quality Specialist

ABB helps industries run leaner and cleaner. This position reports to the Global Quality Manager and is part of the Quality team within the Smart Power business in Frosinone. You will support the deployment of the Quality strategy, including quality culture, systems, tools, and teams, with the aim to meet and exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations. You will collaborate with local functions to achieve targets for the organizational unit and strive for world-class performance.Your Main Responsibilities

• Overseeing quality control activities, including incoming inspection, in-process inspection and final product testing, to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner
• Drive resolution of quality issues to completion, following robust root cause analysis and corrective actions, using Quality Wins methodologies
• Act as point of reference in case of quality issues on the production line to avoid production stops and ensure compliance of working practices and procedures
• Manage all quality data accurately to understand the current status and prevent future non-conformities as part of continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Product Eng, Process Eng, Production and Agile Teams to optimize products/processes and ensure quality standards are met
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects and optimize manufacturing processes
• Support resolution of customer cases by following robust root cause analysis and implementing preventive and corrective actions
• Perform technical audits to suppliers and manage the Supplier KPIs, proactively promoting actions to limit impact on quality

Requirements:

• You hold a Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or similar)
• You have passion and knowledge of quality control processes & Statistical Analysis
• Commitment to deliver results by taking responsibility to execute assigned tasks and projects
• You have experience in a technical context
• You are at ease communicating in English (at least B2 level) and Italian
• You are passionate about teamwork, problem solving and new technology
