About the Role We are looking for an ambitious and tech‑savvy Head of IT & Digital Innovation to shape the future of our technological ecosystem. In this role, you won’t just manage systems; you will be the architect of our IT strategy, bridging the gap between infrastructure and product innovation. You will drive the adoption of advanced technologies to enhance our MedTech solutions and ensure our operations are secure, compliant, and ready for global expansion. Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the company’s IT infrastructure (software, cloud, databases, networks, hardware) ensuring performance and scalability. Cybersecurity & Compliance: Define and implement cybersecurity policies, ensuring compliance with GDPR, NIS2, and industry standards such as ISO 13485 and IEC 62304. AI & Technology Innovation: Lead AI, machine learning, and tech innovation to improve operational efficiency and product development. Collaboration with Engineering and R&D: Integrate technology solutions with engineering and R&D teams to enhance products and processes. Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the IT budget and vendor relationships to ensure cost‑effective technology solutions. Training & Development: Promote ongoing IT training programs for employees on the latest technologies, tools, and best practices. Data‑Driven Decision Making: Use data analytics and business intelligence to drive decisions and optimize performance. Leadership & Strategy: Define and execute the IT vision and strategy, leading a team to achieve business goals. Infrastructure Optimization: Monitor and improve IT system performance for reliability, speed, and security. Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure system uptime during disruptions.

Qualifications & Required Skills

Proven experience as a senior IT leader in technology‑driven or regulated industries (e.g., MedTech, AI, robotics). Expertise in managing IT infrastructure, including cloud services, databases, networks, and software platforms. Strong background in cybersecurity protocols and compliance with regulations such as GDPR, NIS2, ISO 13485, IEC 62304. Hands‑on experience with AI/ML integration and deploying advanced technologies for efficiency and product development. Leadership skills with experience in team management, collaboration with engineering, R&D, and business teams. Proven ability to manage budgets, vendor relationships, and third‑party service providers. Experience with data analytics, BI tools, and optimizing performance through data‑driven decision‑making. Solid understanding of IT best practices, including disaster recovery, business continuity, and performance optimization. Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools (Python, Ansible). Fluent in English and Italian, with a passion for innovation in regulated environments.
