At Arduino, we’re looking for a Robotics Product Manager to lead the evolution of our robotics platforms—including mobile robots, robotic arms, sensor and actuator ecosystems, and learning kits—designed to support real‑world exploration, hands‑on education, and advanced prototyping. In this role, you’ll partner closely with engineering, design, research, and business teams to define and deliver robotics products that truly matter. From early concept validation to launch and continuous improvement, you’ll own the entire product lifecycle with a strong focus on user needs, technical robustness, integrated hardware‑software experiences, and business impact. This position will be based at our operational headquarters in Turin, Italy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

What We Offer

  • A challenging career path in a rapidly growing company with a modern vision and talented teams.
  • A competitive salary and benefits that value your skills and experience.
  • A young and inspiring work environment that celebrates diversity and cultural exchange.
  • Individual growth objectives supported by a dedicated learning and training budget.
  • Flexible working hours and locations—we value work–life balance!
  • A meaningful role in a mission‑driven company committed to empowering people worldwide.

And if you live near one of our offices…

  • Ping pong and football tournaments (plus sport/gym benefits for everyone!)
  • Seasonal celebrations, happy hours, and everyday drinks & snacks
  • Sunny rooftop lunch breaks and hammocks for relaxation or focused work

Shape the Vision

  • Define and manage the roadmap for robotics platforms across Education, Maker, and Professional markets.
  • Identify new robotics opportunities through market research, user insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Translate ideas into clear product strategies that align with Arduino’s mission and the evolving robotics ecosystem.

Drive Development

  • Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and software engineering teams to define functional and technical requirements.
  • Oversee mechanical, electrical, and firmware development, ensuring alignment with cost, quality, and timeline targets.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations throughout prototyping, pre‑series builds, and production ramp‑up.
  • Ensure documentation, safety, and compliance standards relevant to robotics (including mechatronics and motion systems).
  • Partner with content and support teams to produce tutorials, example projects, classroom resources, and getting‑started guides.

Prepare for Go‑to‑Market and Launch

  • Design and lead validation cycles, including field testing, pilot programs, and educator beta groups.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to define product messaging, materials, and training.
  • Contribute to pricing, positioning, and segmentation strategies for robotics products.
  • Align teams across the company to ensure smooth and successful product rollout.

Own the Lifecycle

  • Track product performance using KPIs, user feedback, usage analytics, and community insights.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancements, revisions, and long‑term product evolution.
  • Support lifecycle decisions including margin reviews, pricing updates, and end‑of‑life planning.

What You Bring

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, ideally within robotics, embedded systems, or mechatronics.
  • Strong technical background with an understanding of robotics development—including motors, motion control, sensing, simulation, and firmware.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams: mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, UX, supply chain, marketing, and sales.
  • Strong grasp of full product lifecycle management: ideation, requirements, roadmap, release planning, and iteration.
  • Data‑driven mindset with the ability to use user insights, experiments, and metrics to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a proactive attitude toward problem solving.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory); proficiency in Italian is a strong plus.

Preferred Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in robotics, mechatronics, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with educational robotics platforms, robot kits, mobile robotics, or robotic manipulators.
  • Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, Webots), or robotics middleware.
  • Experience working with open‑source hardware or software communities.
  • Knowledge of Arduino’s hardware, software, and ecosystem.
  • Ability to write or review technical content (tutorials, datasheets, guides).
  • Experience with electronic design tools (KiCad, Altium) and mechanical CAD (Fusion 360, SolidWorks).
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for exploring new robotics domains.

If you're excited about this role or our company but your background doesn’t align perfectly with every requirement, we still encourage you to apply. We value potential and may find another opportunity that suits you even better!
