Based in Florence, this role sits within our Product Development function and plays a key part in translating creative vision into beautifully crafted product. /p pWorking closely with Design, Technical, Merchandising and vendor partners, you will support the development of prototypes, samples and special orders, balancing creativity, quality, timing and cost. This is an opportunity to contribute to the craft and precision behind Burberry product, ensuring each piece reflects our standards of luxury, innovation and customer relevance. /p h3bRESPONSIBILITIES /b /h3 ul liManage the end-to-end development of prototypes, samples and special orders for women’s formal footwear, from design launch to showroom delivery. /li liPartner closely with Design to interpret creative direction, attend fittings, provide product feedback and support solutions that protect the design vision. /li liCollaborate with Technical teams and suppliers to resolve development challenges, share updates and keep key stakeholders informed. /li liBuild effective relationships with vendors, understanding their capabilities, availability and ways of working to support business needs. /li liTrack prototype, sample and component orders, maintaining accurate PLM data and sample trackers throughout the collection process. /li liSupport delivery against critical path, quality expectations and cost targets, identifying risks early and proposing practical actions. /li /ul h3bPERSONAL PROFILE /b /h3 ul liExperience in footwear product development, ideally with knowledge of women’s formal footwear, construction methods, materials and manufacturing processes. /li liAble to translate design intent into clear briefs for internal teams, technical partners and vendors. /li liCommercially aware, with an understanding of product costs, margin considerations and budget requirements. /li liComfortable working with vendors and factory partners, including on-site collaboration where required. /li liClear and collaborative communicator who can work effectively across Design, Technical, Merchandising and supplier teams. /li liConfident using PLM and Excel, with English language skills at B2 level or equivalent. /li /ul pBurberry is an Equal Opportunities Employer and as such, treats all applications equally and recruits purely on the basis of skills and experience. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
