Field Service Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Install Pfeiffer Vacuum products at our customer sites.
2. Perform maintenance operations to meet customer requirements.
3. Manage installation processes and the installed base.
4. Create service reports and troubleshooting reports.
5. Report issues and solve problems efficiently.
6. Provide on-site technical support and efficient service to customers.
7. Operate tools and conduct primary troubleshooting training for customers.
8. Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
9. Deliver regular preventive maintenance and troubleshooting at customer sites.
10. Support demonstration projects, including site checks and application recommendations.
11. Adhere to customer EHS guidelines.

Your Background

• Expertise in Electronics/Electrical fields.
• Knowledge of the microelectronics cleanroom environment or equivalent.
• Initial experience and interest in working with technically sophisticated products in customer service preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance is ideal.
• Hands-on mentality and manual dexterity.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.
• Independent, careful work style, initiative, and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills, customer orientation, and professional appearance.
• Willingness to work in a clean room environment.
• Availability to work on-call outside standard hours or weekends as needed.
