Following several recent client wins, our Italian Paid Media portfolio has grown significantly and now includes complex international eCommerce brands operating across multiple markets and channels. /p pWe are therefore looking for a bSenior Paid Media Manager / Paid Media Lead /b who can take a key role in building the next stage of our Paid Media capability in Italy. /p pThis is not a purely managerial position. /p pWe are looking for someone who is still highly hands‑on, enjoys working directly inside advertising platforms and can personally lead sophisticated Paid Media accounts, while progressively taking responsibility for quality, strategy and team development across our Italian portfolio. /p h3The role /h3 pYou will take senior responsibility for Paid Media delivery across Convertix Italy, working closely with our existing Italian Paid Media team and the wider Convertix Paid Media organisation in Spain. /p pYou will combine bstrategic thinking with hands‑on execution /b. /p pWe don't need someone who only creates strategies and delegates implementation. We need someone who can move comfortably between analysing business performance, designing account strategy, reviewing campaign architecture, challenging tracking and data, optimising campaigns and discussing commercial performance directly with senior client stakeholders. /p h3Your responsibilities /h3 h3Client account leadership /h3 ul liTake senior ownership of complex Italian Paid Media accounts. /li liDevelop Paid Media strategies based on business objectives, profitability and growth opportunities. /li liTranslate commercial objectives into channel, market, campaign and budget strategies. /li liLead or participate in strategic and performance meetings with clients. /li liIdentify performance problems and growth opportunities proactively rather than waiting for client requests. /li liCommunicate confidently with senior marketing and eCommerce stakeholders. /li /ul h3Hands‑on Paid Media /h3 ul liManage and optimise campaigns directly when required. /li liProvide advanced expertise across bGoogle Ads and Meta Ads /b. /li liReview account and campaign structures, bidding strategies, audiences, creative performance, feeds and budget allocation. /li liWork across multiple markets, brands and campaign objectives. /li liAnalyse performance beyond platform KPIs, connecting media performance with revenue, profitability and wider business objectives. /li liWork closely with Analytics/CRO specialists where tracking, attribution or conversion performance requires deeper analysis. /li /ul h3Quality team development /h3 ul liEstablish and maintain high Paid Media quality standards across the Italian portfolio. /li liReview and challenge account strategies and execution. /li liSupport and develop our existing Paid Media specialists. /li liIntroduce structured QA, documentation and account‑management processes. /li liHelp determine resource allocation and capacity as the Italian portfolio grows. /li liOver time, take increasing leadership responsibility for the Italian Paid Media team. /li /ul h3International collaboration /h3 ul liWork closely with our Paid Media Director and teams in Spain. /li liShare methodologies, learnings and best practices across Convertix. /li liCollaborate with SEO, Analytics, CRO and Growth Strategy teams on integrated client strategies. /li liHelp build an Italian Paid Media operation that can increasingly manage its portfolio independently while remaining fully integrated with the wider Convertix organisation. /li /ul h3What we're looking for /h3 pWe are looking for someone with approximately b5+ years of strong hands‑on Paid Media experience /b, ideally including agency experience and sophisticated eCommerce accounts. /p pYou should have: /p ul liAdvanced Google Ads experience. /li liStrong Meta Ads experience. /li liExperience managing significant advertising budgets. /li liStrong eCommerce and performance marketing knowledge. /li liExperience working with multi‑market and ideally multi‑country accounts. /li liStrong analytical skills and confidence working with revenue, ROAS, MER, CAC, conversion rates and profitability metrics. /li liGood understanding of tracking, attribution, GA4 and eCommerce measurement. /li liExperience presenting strategy and performance directly to clients. /li liThe ability to challenge both clients and internal specialists constructively. /li liStrong organisation and project ownership. /li liNative or professional‑level Italian. /li liStrong professional English. /li /ul pExperience with Shopping, Performance Max, Merchant Center and product feeds is particularly relevant. /p pAdditional experience with Microsoft Ads, international expansion, CRO, Analytics, feed‑management platforms or other performance channels is a plus. /p h3The person we're looking for /h3 pTechnical expertise alone isn't enough for this role. /p pWe need someone who takes bownership /b. /p pSomeone who sees a problem and investigates it rather than waiting to be told what to do. /p pSomeone comfortable saying: /p p"This campaign is performing, but I don't think we're asking the right business question." /p pYou should be able to work autonomously while knowing when a problem requires senior escalation. /p pYou should enjoy developing other people without needing to stop being an operator yourself. /p pAnd you should be comfortable joining an organisation that is growing quickly. Some structures already exist and work well. Others still need to be built.
