Reporting directly to the General Manager and partnering closely with regional and corporate leadership, the Director of Finance will provide financial stewardship, operational support, and strategic guidance to maximize profitability, ensure compliance, and protect resort assets. /p pThe ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality finance professional with a strong background in luxury resorts, mixed-use hospitality operations, and complex revenue streams. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Financial Leadership Strategy /h3 ul liServe as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, providing financial analysis and strategic recommendations. /li liDevelop and execute annual operating budgets, capital budgets, and long-range financial plans. /li liMonitor financial performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiencies. /li liPrepare monthly forecasts, variance analyses, and management reports. /li liPresent financial results and business insights to ownership, asset management, and corporate leadership. /li liOversee all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income audit, cash management, and financial reporting. /li liEnsure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes. /li liMaintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company accounting standards. /li liManage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital requirements. /li liReview and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. /li liMonitor performance across lodging, marina operations, food beverage outlets, spa services, retail, and recreational amenities. /li liAnalyze departmental revenues, labor costs, and operating expenses. /li liPartner with department leaders to improve financial performance and accountability. /li liEvaluate pricing strategies, revenue opportunities, and cost control initiatives. /li liEstablish and maintain strong internal controls and financial safeguards. /li liEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. /li liCoordinate annual audits, tax filings, and insurance requirements. /li liManage risk mitigation strategies and asset protection initiatives. /li liMaintain compliance with resort management agreements and ownership reporting requirements. /li liRecruit, train, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members. /li liFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. /li liLead performance management and succession planning efforts within the finance department. /li liPromote strong communication and partnership across all resort departments. /li /ul h3Required /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. /li liMinimum 7–10 years of progressive hospitality finance experience. /li liAt least 3 years in a Director of Finance, Assistant Director of Finance, Controller, or equivalent leadership role within a resort or luxury hotel environment. /li liStrong knowledge of hotel accounting systems, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. /li liExperience managing multiple revenue centers including lodging, food beverage, and recreational operations. /li liAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools. /li /ul h3Preferred /h3 ul liCPA, CMA, or MBA preferred. /li liExperience with luxury resorts, destination properties, or mixed-use hospitality assets. /li liFamiliarity with hotel systems such as M3, BirchStreet, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Great Plains, Micros, Opera, or similar platforms. /li liExperience working with ownership groups, asset managers, and management companies. /li /ul h3What are we looking for? /h3 h3Preferred /h3 ul liCPA, CMA, or MBA preferred. /li liExperience with luxury resorts, destination properties, or mixed-use hospitality assets. /li liFamiliarity with hotel systems such as M3, BirchStreet, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Great Plains, Micros, Opera, or similar platforms. /li liExperience working with ownership groups, asset managers, and management companies. /li /ul h3Compensation: /h3 p$140,000 /p p$150,000 /p pPyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
