ph3PROJECT INFORMATION /h3 pIndustry: Automotive /p pWork model: Onsite /p pProject language: English /p pBusiness trips: 10-20% /p pProject length: 12 months /p pStart: ASAP /p pAssignment type: B2B /p pThe Lead HPC Platform System Debug Engineer plays a critical role in troubleshooting and debugging issues across HPC and Cabin ZCU platforms within a multi-domain, cross-functional team focused on vehicle software validation and quality assurance. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 pTo ensure the stability and functionality of systems through rigorous validation processes. /p ul liReproduce and debug software issues during bench, HIL/ViL, vehicle, and program-validation activities; perform initial root cause analysis and triage. /li liIntegrate software components from internal teams and external vendors; conduct sanity and smoke tests to ensure build stability. /li liReflash builds, execute updates, and assist FOTA investigations; implement small configuration changes to verify hypotheses and fixes. /li liIdentify issue ownership with specialists and domain teams; facilitate agreement on corrective actions and release strategies. /li liDocument root causes, workarounds, and next steps; communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /li liMaintain and adapt validation setups, including minor bench wiring or hardware modifications to isolate issues. /li /ul h3Key Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field. /li li5+ years of experience in embedded software debugging, platform integration, system validation, or root cause analysis. /li liStrong understanding of automotive EE architecture, vehicle subsystem interactions, and HPC software architectures. /li liHands‑on experience with system‑level debugging, issue reproduction, root cause analysis, and technical triage. /li liPractical experience with hypervisor‑based platforms and proficiency in QNX and Linux/Android; familiarity with bootloaders (U-Boot, ABL) and debugging tools (JTAG, Lauterbach, GDB, etc.). /li liKnowledge of software flashing, updates, and FOTA concepts; familiarity with diagnostics and communication protocols (UDS, DoIP, OBD-II, CAN, etc.). /li liStrong communication skills for articulating technical findings and preparing technical reports. /li liExperience with benches, HIL/VHIL environments, and/or vehicle testing. /li liWillingness to work on‑site in Turin and travel occasionally (10-20%). /li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience with Qualcomm 7255/8255 or equivalent HPC‑class SoCs (NVIDIA, Intel, etc.). /li liPrevious work in cross‑functional issue‑resolution teams or vehicle‑integration projects. /li liFamiliarity with infotainment domains such as displays, cameras, or vehicle networking. /li liExposure to issue‑tracking, software release, and quality management processes. /li liUnderstanding of AUTOSAR BSW / Adaptive AUTOSAR and ASPICE‑compliant workflows. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
