Role Description
This full-time Siemens PLC & TIA Portal Programmer role is based on-site in Parma & Bologna. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automation software using Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal platforms. Day-to-day tasks include creating and testing control programs, debugging and implementing solutions, supporting the commissioning phase, and troubleshooting systems. Collaboration with the engineering team and ensuring compliance with industry standards will also be key components of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in PLC Programming, Debugging, Installation & Commissioning.
- Proven experience with Siemens PLCs, TIA Portal, and other industrial automation tools
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for debugging and troubleshooting
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Previous experience in industrial automation is an advantage
- Willingness to work on-site in Bologna
