We are looking for a versatile Senior Software Engineer focused on building user-facing applications. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain reliable, intuitive experiences across our ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on desktop clients and browser extensions.

You will be interacting with product management and customers to understand detailed requirements.

You will also work with research team across to design and build high-performance solutions.

Key requirements:

• BS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of work experience
• Possess strong programming proficiency in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals : data structures, algorithms and programming languages
• Possess strong knowledge of software engineering processes, agile methodologies , tools, methods and test development
• Possess attitude to security and privacy and knowledge of secure code design guidelines
• Disciplined approach to development, documentation and code structure
• Utilize AI coding agents daily to accelerate development, debugging, and code reviewing.
• Fluent in spoken and written Italian and English

Nice to haves:

• MS or PhD in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
• Expertise with native application development on Windows and macOS
• Experience with application deployment solutions in enterprise environments (e.g. GPO, SCCM)
• Experience with developing, shipping, and maintaining desktop client applications using frameworks like Electron, C# (.NET), or similar technologies.
• Expertise with performance analysis and tuning including memory usage, CPU utilization, battery draining, etc.
