From AI and automation to endpoint management and cyber security, the Directorate is focused on creating streamlined, future-ready services that support academic and professional excellence across DMU. /p p bRole /b /p pWe are seeking a proactive Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Digital and Technology Directorate. You will lead detection, investigation, and response to cyber threats, protecting systems, services, and data. /p pYou will strengthen security capability, improving controls, responding to incidents, and managing emerging risks to support secure digital delivery. /p pYou will embed best practice across services and projects, ensuring cyber risk is managed and security is integrated into solution design and delivery. /p p bMain Duties and Responsibilities /b /p pAs a Senior Cyber Security Analyst, you will: /p ul liLead investigation and response to complex cyber incidents /li liIdentify, assess, and mitigate emerging threats /li liManage and optimise security tools and controls (e.g. EDR, vulnerability management) /li liProvide expert guidance to projects and operations /li liSupport assurance, audit, and compliance activities /li liImprove detection, response, and security maturity /li liLead awareness initiatives, including phishing simulations /li /ul p bTeam Structure /b /p pYou will report to the Cyber Security Operations Governance Lead within the Digital and Technology Directorate and work closely with security specialists, architects, and stakeholders across faculties and professional services. /p p bIdeal Candidate /b /p pYou will have strong hands-on cyber security operations experience, working independently and applying expert judgement.
