NDT Engineer / NDT Project Engineer (Offshore Pipeline) – FANO

Professional responsible for coordinating and validating non-destructive testing activities on offshore pipelay projects, ensuring compliance with project, contractual, and Client requirements.

Your role
  • Lead and coordinate NDT/NDE activities during offshore pipeline projects
  • Ensure inspection quality, compliance, and alignment with project requirements
  • Act as technical interface with Client representatives
  • Support continuous improvement of NDT processes and methodologies
Your responsibilities
  • Coordinate the NDE phase, including planning, qualification, and execution
  • Prepare and qualify NDT procedures, QC documentation, and equipment specifications
  • Supervise AUT, UT, MT, and ECA activities on girth welds and validate results
  • Support field/on-board teams, manage subcontractors, and handle critical issues
Requirements
  • 5+ yrs. Experience in NDT on offshore pipelay or similar projects
  • Strong knowledge of AUT, UT, MT, ECA and inspection methodologies
  • Ability to manage procedures, qualification, and Client technical discussions
  • Solid understanding of NDT standards, data analysis, and process validation
